The HPM5 electric drive for maritime use is developed by RadarLab Marine. The drive can substitute an internal combustion engine of 10 Hp.
The Electric drive can run on four 12 V AGM batteries, not included in the price. Number of ampere-hours to be used, is dependent of how long sailing time you want. The batteries can be advantageously positioned centrally in boat, eg. around the keel. The motor is brush less and is almost indestructible. It weighs no more than it is easy to take home for winter storage.
The motor is usable for boats with a displacement of 2000 kg. The relationship between sailing hour and number of installed ampere is depending of the type of boat. Send us an email so we can estimate the correlation. The mail must contain the length of waterline and whether it is a sailboat or motorboat. In the case of a sailboat, it must be indicated if the keel is short or long.
Startbox
Price 230 €
Computer controlled device, which can sound a horn via a relay.
The box is operated via one button, which is pressed when the starting procedure is initiated. Class flag is set simultaneously. Start Rule flag time is indicated by a light signal. The box is developed to a normal 5-minute start.
To the prices mentioned, you must add the cost of transportation. The prices are included danish VAT.
